Property Offences

John Sutton

A property offence primarily concerns the destruction or damaging of property and is taken very seriously by the Courts. Upon being charged with a property offence, an accused person must make a decision about whether to enter a plea of guilty or a plea of not guilty. By entering a plea of not guilty there will be a hearing where evidence will be provided to the Court and a decision will be made about whether a person is guilty or not guilty.

If you decide to enter a plea of guilty or are found guilty by the Court, these offences carry as a maximum penalty full time imprisonment. Armstrong Legal’s specialist criminal law team stand ready to advise you on the ways that you might avoid gaol if you have been charged.
